The Ravens still haven't identified a second tight end and Glenn still hasn't fully recovered from the ketchup debacle. It's...not great. It is #WouldYouRatherWednesday-would you rather have to dump ketchup all over your food in order to have a Thanksgiving OR no food, no get-togethers, no football and you have to work next week? Midway through Hour 1, Drew Forrester (DrewsMorningDish.com) joined us to discuss Dustin Johnson winning The Masters, what's wrong with the Ravens and more. Early in Hour 2, we continued the Ravens conversation with with NFL Network analyst Bucky Brooks-is there a way the Ravens can overcome all of the players they've lost and their fairly thin offense to begin with? And we wrapped the show by catching up with legendary basketball coach Paul Westhead about his remarkable career, some connections he's had to Maryland and his new book "The Speed Game."

Welp. Today's the day. Glenn pays off his MLB bet by honoring our neighbors to the north. He's wearing his finest Canadian tuxedo (you can see it Facebook.com/PressBoxSports) and consuming a bowl of mac & cheese that's mixed with TEN OUNCES of ketchup throughout the show. Oh and he's going to perform the Canadian national anthems-both Avril Lavigne and Nickelback. Our buddy Eric Arditti (Barstool Sports) is with us in studio-he's our resident Titans fan and doesn't like their chances against the Raves. Early in Hour 1, our friends Bradley & Nikki Bozeman checked in to discuss the tough loss and their Thanksgiving charity giveaway next week. Early in Hour 2 we debate this year's Baseball Hall of Fame ballot-which was sent out yesterday. Near the bottom of Hour 2, Orioles pitcher David Hess joined us to discuss the strange nature of baseball in 2020 and now being a free agent. And to end the show we chatted with former Titans receiver/104.5 (Nashville) host Kevin Dyson joined us to look ahead to Sunday's game.

So that happened. It's not pleasant but we discussed all of it. The injuries, the rain, the play calling, the bad snaps, the lack of outside receivers, all of it. It's all a factor. Early in Hour 1, former Ravens receiver/WJZ analyst Qadry Ismail joined the show to discuss the impact of losing Nick Boyle, whether the Ravens should turn to Dez Bryant despite the evidence that it's not likely to solve their problems and more. Late in Hour 1, we recapped another brutal weekend of NFL Picks (yeesh) for the gang. Early in Hour 2 we dished out our Slaps to the Helmet for the Ravens' loss and at the bottom of Hour 2, Jeremy Conn from 105.7 The Fan checked in to discuss the Ravens' loss and how difficult it has been to bet on the NFL this season.

Busy Friday edition of GCR. You know what's dumber than the Lamar Jackson/Kyler Murray debate? Having a debate about why such a debate exists. And we're just dumb enough to help you in that department. Lots of FinishThises today about "immortal" worms, "great tits" and parents literally throwing their kids over school fences. Late in Hour 1, Dodgers reliever Adam Kolarek (Catonsville HS/Maryland) joined us to discuss what it was like to win the World Series, his unusual path to winning a championship and sort of living out his father Frank (Mt. St. Joseph)'s dreams as well. Early in Hour 2, former Ravens CB Lardarius Webb joined us to discuss the silliness of the Murray/Jackson "debate" and why he's not alarmed by Jackson's comments as defenses know what plays are coming far more frequently that you realize. After that, "The Edge" from "Big Fat Winners" joined us to try to help us make some money betting NFL games this weekend-he LOVES the Ravens -7 at New England. And we wrapped up the show by chatting with

It was a really weird day for the Ravens in Indianapolis...but they won on the road, convincingly, despite injuries and bizarre circumstances throughout the week leading up to the game. That's noteworthy. We discussed that to start the show then dished out our "Pats on the Ass" for the game and recapped a brutal week for EVERYONE when it comes to NFL picks. After that we caught up with Ravens running back Gus Edwards to discuss the big win, a rare fumble, Mark Andrews' insane block and why expects they'll go up tempo more. And at the bottom of Hour 2, 105.7 The Fan's Jeremy Conn checked in to discuss Ravens/Colts, Maryland's emergence and Mo Gaba getting a street named after him.

Glenn went with the 49ers last night because the line moved A HALF EFFING POINT. He's not happy. But doesn't really care about Alex Cora being hired again by the Red Sox. Near the bottom of Hour 1, St. Frances co-head coach Henry Russell joined us to discuss next week's HBO documentary "The Cost of Winning," their attempts to play this season and where they stand with the MIAA controversy a few years removed. Obviously a huge day...it's #WouldYouRatherWednesday. Was there something else? Would you rather a rich relative bet your inheritance on the Ravens making a deeper run in the playoffs or on the Steelers making a deeper run in the playoffs? The Ravens did nothing at the deadline but that was probably to be expected after the Yannick Ngakoue deal. "The Bataround" host Paul Valle III joined us for today's show in studio. So that was...rough. But was it more "fluke" or "indictment?" Glenn is convinced it was more fluke and we discussed that at length to start the show. A few minutes in, former Chargers team doctor Dr. David Chao (@ProFootballDoc/Outkick) joined us to discuss why he doesn't expect Ronnie Stanley's injury to linger into next year. Our buddy Ron from Owings Mills checked in...to say things Ron from Owings Mills would say. Late in Hour 1, Yahoo! Sports' Frank Schwab explained to us why he thought it was more "fluke." Early in Hour 2, we chatted with former NFL Defensive Lineman Brandon Noble-who called yesterday's game for Compass Media. Then our friend "The NFL Chick" Syreeta Hubbard checked in to react live to the news of Marlon Humphrey's positive test plus her reaction to the loss and what it was like to be back in the stands finally. We wrapped Hour 2 with our weekly visit with 105.7 The Fan's Jeremy Co

    29/10/2020 Duração: 02h13min

MLB is coming after Justin Turner and...pretending like they aren't just as at fault if not, you know, more? It's weird. Near the bottom of Hour 1, actor Curt Wootton-who you know from his wildly popular "Pittsburgh Dad" YouTube show joined us ahead of Sunday's rivalry battle-how did the show start? What plans might the Ravens have for Dez Bryant? Early in Hour 2 we tried to get some Steelers hate flowing as former Ravens LB Adalius Thomas checked in to reflect on his favorite memories, how the rivalry has maintained and de-cleating Hines Ward. We then made our Picks for the week in the NFL, including Pittsburgh/Baltimore. And at the bottom of Hour 2, the PressBox Fantasy Football Show with Ken Zalis-how do we handle injury issues with Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde, Aaron Jones, Joe Mixon, Miles Sanders, etc.?

Glenn Clark Radio October 28, 2020 (Brian Vikander, #WouldYouRatherWednesday)

    28/10/2020 Duração: 02h16min

So there's a lot to unpack from the Dodgers' World Series clinch last night. Sure, the Kevin Cash decision to pull Blake Snell seems...kinda nuts. But is it the reason they lost? And the Justin Turner thing...oh boy. How could MLB possibly allow for a scenario where players participate in WORLD SERIES GAMES without knowing with complete certainty that they had tested negative? It's also #WouldYouRatherWednesday-would you rather the Ravens lose both Steelers games but somehow win the division or win both games but somehow lose the division? Near the bottom of Hour 2, pitching coach Brian Vikander-one of the authors of the new book "Dalko" joined us to discuss their dive into the life and career of former Orioles farmhand Steve Dalkowski, whose story is one of the most significant legends in baseball history.

The Rams and Bears aren't bad football teams but they sure as hell aren't particularly interesting, either. Early in today's show, our weekly chat with Bradley and Nikki Bozeman about the excitement of a new player (Yannick Ngakoue), being a part of Ravens/Steelers, Bradley getting mani/pedis and Saturday's Halloween/food giveaway. Midway through Hour 1, Drew Forrester (DrewsMorningDish.com) checked in to discuss the World Series and whether it would be okay for Ravens fans who won the ticket lottery to sell their tickets to Steelers fans.
